Hannah’s Cottage Bed and Breakfast is located in Balhannah, just 5 km from Hahndorf and 27 km east of Adelaide in the Adelaide Hills Region of South Australia. Hannah’s is only 30 minutes from Adelaide but is tucked away in one of the most beautiful parts of the hills for peaceful, enjoyable relaxation.

Hannah’s is a self-contained cottage which offers tranquility, romance and seclusion on 20 acres. The multi-award winning hilltop cottage commands stunning panoramic views of rolling hills, majestic gums and breath-taking sunsets. You can enjoy the clean country air, relax on the verandah, walk in the early morning mist or share in a game of tennis or hire bikes to ride the Amy Gillett Bikeway nearby.

Hannah’s is suitable for one adult couple at a time so it is the perfect place to spend time with someone special.

The cottage is full of character and style and guests often comment on the attention to detail. Extensive use has been made of timber, from the cedar-framed windows to the old Baltic pine floorboards and kitchen cupboards. Quality antiques are used along with crisp linen. Fresh flowers from the gardens adorn the rooms and original art works hang on the walls. Quality wine from the Adelaide Hills, Port and hand-made cheese biscuits are complimentary. If you wish, by prior arrangement, we can provide a welcome cheese & fruit platter, a picnic hamper for you to savour down by the dam or a delicious dinner to enjoy in the cottage. All of these options maximise the use of regional produce.

Your hosts, Anne and Paul, are bilingual (Japanese and German are also spoken) and take pride and pleasure in taking care of the extras which will make your stay memorable.
